CoinTracker is a premier crypto portfolio and tax compliance platform designed to unify the digital asset experience. By aggregating data across wallets and exchanges, the platform automates transaction tracking, calculates capital gains, and generates IRS-ready tax reports.
Following a comprehensive 2025 rebranding, CoinTracker is currently in a high-growth phase, scaling its infrastructure to meet the surge in mandatory tax filing requirements.
The Challenge
Crypto investors face "fragmented data fatigue" having to manually track assets across disparate chains making the new reporting requirments and tax compliance a significant barrier to entry. How can we foster confidence in investors that there is a solution to this state of mind?

CoinTracker provides a single "source of truth," delivering year-round portfolio insights and automated, accurate reporting. Through this “Alignment Session” framing we prove out CoinTrackers key benefits.

The campaign focuses on the calm simplicity that CoinTracker provides. While competitors focus on time spent filing, CoinTracker captures attention and market share showing users it’s expertise in the space.

Set in a minimalist, futuristic wellness studio, the campaign features "Tommi"—an intuitive guide who leads a cast of real investors through an Alignment Session. As an insightful observer, Tommi revisits the investors’ past transactions, revealing the data gaps they were previously unaware of. The journey concludes back in the studio, illustrating a powerful transformation: through CoinTracker, an investor's digital life finally achieves total alignment. What actually happened, what was recorded, and what is filed on April 15th are finally in sync.

Continuing the message of crypto tax filing calm into the real world. Tommi ventured out on digital billboards with calming animations to instill moments of filing calm all around the city.

Like every other IYKYK subculture, crypto initiates want to wear their interests on their chest and sprinkle their references throughout their day. So it was a natural evolution for CoinTracker to offer a variety of typical and atypical merch via limited drops.Many of these items were also used as easter eggs in the hero film and the cutdowns that followed to seed curiosity. This extension helped to to further build the world of Tommi Coyne, not only as a leading voice in Crypto finance, but as a culutural character and taste maker.

In an extra special drop a handful of Crypto influencers, thought-leaders, CEOs and the like recieved a special package directly from Tommi Coyne. In this mysterious box they recieved Tommi’s hourglass, and an invitation to join in an alignment session.
